About Committee

In 2004, the Committee for Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs was formed.

In 2021, by the decision of the Bureau of the Board of the RSPP on combining the relevant Committees, it was transformed into the RSPP Committee on Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation.

Currently, it includes more than three thousand experts from enterprises and organizations of various industries, representing almost all regions of Russia, as well as the EAEU countries. They take an active part in the discussion of draft technical regulations, Government resolutions and federal laws in the field of technical regulation and standardization, in the development and updating of national and interstate standards.

The Committee is co-chaired by Dmitry Pumpyanskiy and Vladimir Yevtushenkov - members of the Bureau of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Organizational structure

The activities of the RSPP Committee are focused on the involvement of industry representatives in the implementation of industrial policy, technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment, as well as the development of a consolidated point of view of the business community on the most important issues, bringing this position to the state authorities, and defending it in government structures.

The work of the RSPP Committee allows the Industry:

  • Actively participate in the development of technical regulations and regulatory legal documents.

  • Develop a consolidated opinion of various industries on issues of technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment.

  • To carry out the interaction of industrial associations with state authorities.

  • Expand international cooperation in the field of technical regulation and standardization.

The Committee acts as a coordinator of the business community's actions in the field of industrial policy and technical regulation, and is a link between the state and business in this area.
