On November 20, 2024, the XVIII International Conference "Neftegazstandart – 2024", an authoritative discussion platform for specialists of the Russian oil and gas complex and related industries on topical issues in the field of standardization and technical regulation, began its work in Samara with a plenary session.
The event was organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Committee on Technical Regulation, TC 023 "Oil and Gas Industry" and the Government of the Samara Region.
The plenary session was moderated by Andrey Lotsmanov, Chairman of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Committee on Technical Regulation, Chairman of the Council for Technical Regulation and Standardization under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Gennady Shmal, President of the Union of Oil and Gas Industrialists of Russia, Chairman of the Intersectoral Council for Technical Regulation and Standardization in the Russian Oil and Gas Complex.
Denis Gurkov, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Samara Region, welcomed the participants of the event. Oleg Aksyutin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Head of Gazprom's Department, Chairman of TC 023 Oil and Gas Industry, and Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, sent welcoming addresses to the conference.
Over the course of three days, the conference participants will discuss the current state of the system of technical regulation and standardization in the oil and gas complex and related industries, the possibilities of using technical regulation and standardization as a tool for achieving technological independence, the main directions of development of interstate standardization, issues of inter-sectoral cooperation of technical committees for standardization in the interests of NGK enterprises and other relevant topics.
Traditionally, a meeting of TC 023 "Oil and Gas Industry" will be held within the framework of the conference.
