We welcome the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) as a recognised regional cooperation body of ILAC! https://ilac.org/ilac-mra-and-signatories/recognised-regional-cooperation-bodies/
The Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) was established on 1 January 2019 by the amalgamation of two former regional accreditation cooperations: the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC).
As both of the former bodies, APLAC and PAC were recognised regions of ILAC and IAF respectively, a resolution was adopted at the Joint IAF/ILAC General Assembly held in October 2017 that APAC would be recognised as regional cooperation body from January 1 2019. https://ilac.org/publications-and-resources/ga-resolutions/
This in turn ensured the continued recognition of the ILAC MRA signatory status of the accreditation bodies from the APAC MRA (former APLAC MRA) to the ILAC MRA: https://ilac.org/signatory-search/
