The second meeting of the Council for Technical Regulation and Standardization for the Digital Economy of the RSPP Committee and the Eastern German Business Association took place in Berlin on 29 November in the Office of the Eastern German Business Association.
The event was attended by more than 30 experts from Russia and Germany.
The German side was represented by German authorities responsible for standardization and digital economy policy (DIN, DKE, Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy of Germany), Industrial associations (Union of Machine Builders Germany) and experts from large German companies (SMS-Group, etc.).
The Russian delegation included representatives of business, scientific institutes (STANKIN, MIREA), industrial associations (RSPP, CCI), IT Companies (Consortium "Kodeks") and others.
The meeting provided information on the directions and plans of the Council in the field of construction of quality infrastructure, harmonization of technical regulations, horizontal and vertical directions of digital transformation.
The presentations were made by Andrey Lotsmanov, First deputy chairman of the RSPP Committee on Technical Regulation. Standardization and Conformity Assessment, Chairman of the Council for Technical regulation and Standardization at the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation, Nadezhda Volkova, General director of NTS "Control and Diagnostics", Sergey Golovin, Chairman of the Intersectoral Council on Standardization in the Field of Information Technologies under the RSPP Committee on Technical Regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment, Boris Pozneyev, director of the Institute of Information Systems and Technologies, MSTU "Stankin", Sergey Pugachev, Vice-president Association of organizations for the development of information modeling technologies in construction and housing and other.
The German side presented the reports of J. Boehlmann, head of the contact Bureau for Small and Medium Business of the Eastern German Business Association.
As part of the development of possible interaction between Russian and German experts in the field of standardization for the digital economy supported by DIN and DKE, it was decided to apply to the Council of Industry 4:0 Germany with a request to organize information’s exchange by Russian and German specialists in the development of digital transformation of production.
During the event were also discussed the structure and operational management of the Council, the composition of working groups and the schedule of work for the Council for the 2019 year.
The next meeting of the Council will take place in Moscow at the Russian Business Week in March 2019.
