February 19-22, 2018 delegation of the Russian industry took part in the largest building exhibition «BAUTEC – 2018». The visit was organized by the RSPP Committee of technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment together with Russian export Center, with the support of the Russian Ministry of industry and trade, Government of Moscow and the Trade mission of the Russian Federation in Germany.
Program of participation of our delegation in this major event also included two conferences and visit to industrial enterprises and scientific organizations of Germany.
In the development of Russian-German initiative on digital economy, which has been started in the framework of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in 2017, during the visit of the Russian delegation on Tuesday discussed with the Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of German economy the prospects for joint project between RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment and German industry in the area of approximation of technical legislation and standardization, firstly for the digital economy. It is planned to attract to the project such major German companies as SIEMENS AG and BASF. The Russian side will be invited SC Rosneft, Rosatom, Russian Railways and others.
For the first time at the prestigious exhibition «BAUTEC – 2018» Russian export center has an exposition of the Russian Federation.
Among the participants of the exhibition were the company ZIAS BEACH which annually produces more than 800 thousand of square meters of facade systems and more than 500 units of auxiliary tools and equipment for quick and qualitative installation of facades.
The attention of visitors attracted two innovative product of the Group of companies “JeTIZ”. Fiberglass composite fittings JeTIZ that widely used in the construction of Metro stations, hydraulic structures and hydraulic systems: it is corrosive acid and salt water environment.
Plant Flekst presented a totally new unique product of own design and production-flexible structural metal profile.
The Group of companies “Spectrum” connects for 20 years already the creative potential of Russian engineering school and international standards of project management at all stages of the life cycle. Qualitatively new approach to conceptual BIM - designing under the brand “Spectrum” has allowed to realize more than 40 complex projects and receive a number of awards, including the “BIM Leader Russia” in 2016 2017 (organized by Autodesk). Clients of “Spectrum” proposes the creation of a shared BIM model, management project and its coordination.
Scientific and training center “Testing and Diagnostics” has British accreditation, and shared their experience at the exhibition in the field of certification of personnel and non-destructive testing.
The opening ceremony took place on February 20 the Russian exposition and aroused great interest among visitors.
The ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Russian export center, RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment, exhibiting companies.
On the afternoon February 20 the Eastern Committee of German economy within the framework of the business program for the Russian delegation had organized a seminar on the application of BIM-technologies and product certification.
There were discussed achievements and prospects of digitalization in the construction industry. How to use digital technologies in international projects and German-Russian collaborations in building of complex decisions with experts from Russia and Germany. Presentations were made by the representatives of GC SPECTRUM, Drees und Sommer, Willen Associates, Beiten Burkhardt, NP Soyuzcement.
February 21 within the framework of the business program of the exhibition hosted the International Conference «Technical regulation and certification of construction products», its organizers from the Russian side were the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment and Russian Export Center, from German side were the German Institute for building technology (DIBt) supported by German Standards Institute (DIN).
The Conference was opened by the head of the trade representation of the Russian Federation in Germany Y.P. Stetsenko. He noted the importance of the development of Russian-German cooperation in the field of technical regulations and certification of products.
The growth of trade turnover between Russia and Germany in last year showed positive dynamics for the first time in the last 4 years and German companies are ready to invest again in the Russian market. Much of this credit goes to constant interaction in the field of harmonization of technical legislation.
The Conference was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, Moscow City Committee on pricing in construction and State expertise of projects, the Russian National Institute of accreditation JSC «Center of methodology of regulation and standardization in construction» and others.
Gerhard Brajtshaft, President of the German Institute of building technology spoke about principles of certification of building materials in Germany and notification tool during the procedure for conformity assessment of construction products for the requirements of the rules of EU Regulation 305 on construction materials.
Jens Belmann, head of the contact Office for small and medium-sized businesses of the Eastern Committee of German economy and Marcus Rajgl, Director of standardization and regulatory Department of SIEMENS AG introduced the project of involving the German industry in the implementation of the digital platform 4.0 industry and prospects of participation in the work of the experts of RSPP Committee.
From the German side the Conference was also attended by Dr. Matthias Witte, head of construction sector standardization DIN, head of the national German TC construction, Karsten Kathage, President, European Organization for technical assessment (EOTA), Kühne, Hans-Karsten, head of technology of building materials of the Federal German Institute for materials research and testing; Gerd Slapke, general director of Eurasia Global Connecting.
As shown by the results of the survey made after the event, the special interest of the Conference participants have sparked reports of Gerhard Brajtshaft, O.N. Lukerchik, Chairman of the Board of JSC «Center for regulation and standardization methodology in construction» and A.N. Lotsmanov, first Vice-Chairman of the RSPP Committee.
Presentation of A.N. Lotsmanov was concerned to the interaction of the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment with representatives of Germany on the use of instruments of standardization in the development of the digital economy in Germany and Russia.
Report made by O.N. Lukerchik focused on state assessment standards for new technologies and pricing in construction.
The importance of the issues raised during the event and the high professional level of the participants of the Conference demonstrated by the large number of questions to the rapporteurs from the Russian and the German side.
In total, the Conference was attended by more than 50 experts from Russia and Germany.
The last day of the program of the visit of the Russian delegation in Germany included two technical visits.
Questions of practical application in BIM-technologies were discussed at the in company Drees und Sommer and were based on practical examples. Russian specialists have discussed how to use new technologies in construction and designing buildings on example of construction works in Russia and Germany. The visit took place in a friendly atmosphere, and a large number of questions from Russian experts showed interest in the theme of the meeting, in particular, to practical use of BIM-technologies, also the great interest from German colleagues was caused by the application experience of BIM -technologies in Russian firms. It was noted that in some respects here Russia goes ahead.
In German Federal Institute for research and testing materials (BAM), participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the practice of certification and launch to the market of innovative building materials, get information on notification system and features of the work of EU accreditated conformity assessment bodies.
Agreed to continue dialogue on the cooperation between Russian and German industries in the field of technical regulation and of the digital economy in the international industrial Forum “INNOPROM”, which traditionally take place in Yekaterinburg in July 2018 year.
