From 1 till 3 April 2019, the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment with support of the German-Russian initiative for digitization (GRID) and jointly with the OAOEV organized a visit of the delegation of the Russian industry to Germany's largest industrial exhibition Hannover Messe-2019.
The delegation of the RSPP Committee traditionally takes part in the Hanover exhibition. It was during the visit to Hanover that in 2017 the German partners invited the RSPP Committee to start cooperation between the Russian and German industries in the field of standardization for the digital economy.
As a result the Council for technical regulation and standardization for the digital economy of the RSPP Committee for technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment and the OAOEV was established in 2018.
This time the delegation included more than 30 specialists and representatives of the authorities and the Russian industry. Among them were the Director of the Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission T. B. Nurashev, Senior Vice-President of PJSC Rostelecom K. A. Menshov, General Director of LLC "Avtotor-holding" A. E. Sorokin and others.
The Russian delegation visited the production line of Volkswagen AG, took part in the discussion with the experts of the plant on the introduction of "Industry 4.0" and digitalization in the automotive industry.
Dr. Abdullah Shanti, Executive Vice President of Volkswagen AG, opened the discussion. Detailed presentations on the use of digital tools at Volkswagen AG were presented by Dr. Holger Heine, head of the production technologies of the future at Volkswagen AG and Falk Bothe, Director of the digital transformation office at Volkswagen AG, Frank Hokke, head of the Russian direction at Volkswagen AG.
On April 2 at the Hanover exhibition at the special round table "Technical regulation in the field of digitalization and Industry 4.0"were discussed the issues of standardization for the digital economy. The event was organized by OAOEV and the RSPP Committee.
Dr. Ulrike Bohnsak, member of the Board of Directors of the German Institute of standardization (DIN), T. B. Nurashev, Director of the Department, Eurasian Economic Commission, Andrey Lotsmanov, first Deputy Chairman, RSPP Committee, Markus Reigl, Director of technical regulation and standardization, SIEMENS AG and others shared their vision of the problems of using standardization tools in the digital age.
At the end of the round table with the support of the GRID Initiative was organized a visit to the stands of the largest German companies as SAP, SIEMENS, Bosch Rexroth, where members of the Russian delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the technology of "Digital twins".
On April 3 the RSPP delegation visited Siemens Turbinenewerke plant, which is engaged in the production of gas turbines and has the most modern equipment in this area.
An informative program was organized thanks to the help and support of the coordinator of the GRID Initiative in the RSPP A. A. Prokhorova, and coordinator of the GRID Initiative Y.V. Prokoptseva, the team of OAOEV and allowed the delegation of the RSPP Committee to get acquainted with the latest trends in the field of digitization of production and see how digital technologies are used in practice and change processes.
The next meeting between Russian and German experts in the field of standardization will be held within the framework of the Forum Innoprom-2019, where an open meeting of the Council for technical regulation and standardization for the digital economy is scheduled for July 9.
