The focus is on the prospects for the development of «Industry 4.0»

One of the most important events of the INNOPROM-2020 forum has traditionally been the online session "Standardization as the basis of Industry 4.0", which was held on July 7, 2020. It was organized by the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment with the support of the Eastern Committee of the German economy (OAOEV).

The main topic of the session was standardization as the basis for creating and implementing digital technologies in various sectors of the economy.
The discussion was attended by representatives of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, Rosstandard, experts from leading companies from Russia and Germany.
The RSPP President A. N. Shokhin addressed the participants and organizers of the conference the welcome speech.

At the session made reports the Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Besprozvannykh, head of Rosstandart Alexey Abramov, Director for technical regulation and standardization of SIEMENS AG Markus Reigl, Head of Bureau  for the small and medium-sized business of the Eastern Committee of the German economy Jens Boehlmann, First Deputy Chairman of the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment Andrey Lotsmanov, President of the Consortium Kodeks/ head of Techexpert Information network Sergey Tikhomirov, Chairman Of the Board in the Association for digital innovations in mechanical engineering (ACIM) Boris Pozdneev and others.

During the session the participants discussed the possibilities of using digital technologies to solve problems of technical regulation, prospects for digitalization of standardization processes in Russia, and the main problems in the transition to Industry 4.0.

During the event, practical experience was exchanged in the field of creating digital productions and the role of standards in creating "Industry 4.0" in Germany and Russia was discussed. The results of the work of the Council for technical regulation and standardization for the digital economy under the RSPP Committee on technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment and the Eastern Committee of the German economy were presented. The last meeting of the Council was held on the eve of the conference in the online format.

The main activity of the Council - established in 2018 - is to bring together the regulatory framework of Russia and Germany in the field of digital transformation and in the development of quality infrastructure, to work together on standards for creating digital platforms.

The Council consists of more than 100 experts from Russia and Germany, including representatives of interested authorities and various companies, including the IT-industry.

A number of joint Russian-German initiatives are being developed within the Council.

A multilingual Glossary (English-Russian-German) in the field of Smart manufacturing and "Industry 4.0" has been developed in the direction of "Digital transformation".

The consortium Kodeks, based on the eCl@ss classifier has started developing a specialized product in the field of normative reference systems.

Work has begun on the implementation of the project "Digital systems for dynamic monitoring of the state and operating modes of overhead power lines with a voltage of 35-220 kV", which will significantly reduce the cost of repairing and operating networks.

A website is being created in Russian, German and English, where analytical materials of expert groups will be posted.

The Council has already recommended itself as an effective platform that allows Russian companies to get acquainted with the operation of the Platform Industry 4.0 from the inside, and create a basis for building a similar system in Russia.

During the online session "Standardization as the basis of Industry 4.0", the participants discussed further directions of the Council's work.
