Within the framework of the Council for Technical Regulation and Standardization for the Digital Economy of the RSPP Committee of Industrial Policy and Technical Regulation and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy the Smart Manufacturing expert group developed a Glossary in the field of Industry 4.0.
Experts from leading German and Russian companies, government authorities, public and scientific organizations took part in the creation of the document. During the work on the Glossary modern means of semantic analysis of the main concepts in the field of Industry 4.0 were used. It was found that the terms presented in the Glossary are widely used in many international and national standards being a kind of "key" for their understanding.
The Glossary includes the basic terms and definitions in the field of Industry 4.0 which are presented in German, English and Russian.
Thanks to the creation of the Russian-language version of the Glossary, the development of a number of national Russian standards (GOST R) which are a modification of the fundamental international standards ISO/IEC in the field of "Industry 4.0" — including IEC PAS 63088 "Smart manufacturing — Reference architecture model Industry 4.0 (RAMI4.0)" (Smart manufacturing. Industry 4.0 Reference Architecture Model (RAMI 4.0)), etc.
The document is intended for wide use by managers and specialists, researchers, university teachers and students, as well as experts in the field of standardization and practical application of Industry 4.0.
The Glossary covers the fundamental Industry 4.0 terms which are given in English and Russian and used in many international and national standards. It will be useful for managers, specialists, as well as experts in the field of standardization and practical application of the principles of Industry 4.0 in enterprises aimed at digital transformation of production.
The Glossary is included in the "Unified Dictionary of Terms" in the next systems - "Techexpert: Norms, Rules, Standards and legislation of Russia", "Techexpert: Machine-building Complex", "Techexpert: Oil and Gas Complex", "Techexpert: Energy. Premium" and "Techexpert: Metallurgical Complex".
